NGEN is seeking a skilled and results-oriented Data Scientist to implement AI-driven solutions that enhance internal processes and drive business success. This role includes designing, developing, and maintaining advanced chatbots leveraging both open-source and proprietary large language models (LLMs) and collaborating with various departments to deliver tailored AI solutions. Additionally, the position involves automating data collection and processing for seamless software integration, developing and implementing generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) algorithms, and providing education and support to ensure the effective adoption of AI technologies. Responsibilities:
1. Enhancing internal company processes by implementing AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency.
2. Designing, developing, and maintaining various chatbots leveraging open-source and proprietary LLMs.
3. Collaborating with other departments to identify and deliver optimal AI-based solutions for business challenges.
4. Development and maintenance of a digital knowledge base for the purpose of developing algorithms and models for data analysis and deriving actionable insights.
5. Support for software development through automated integration of data collection and processing from work tools.
6. Development and production implementation of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) algorithms.
7. Collaboration on other company products where data is of critical importance.

NGEN išče usposobljenega in v rezultate usmerjenega podatkovnega znanstvenika za implementacijo rešitev, ki temeljijo na AI, ki izboljšujejo notranje procese in spodbujajo poslovni uspeh. Ta vloga vključuje načrtovanje, razvoj in vzdrževanje naprednih chatbotov, ki izkoriščajo odprtokodne in lastniške modele velikih jezikov (LLM) ter sodelujejo z različnimi oddelki za zagotavljanje prilagojenih rešitev AI. 1. Bachelor’s / Master’s / PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of work experience in similar positions.
3. Strong proficiency in Python programming.
4. Knowledge of generative AI, agents, RAG and machine learning concepts and techniques.
5. Experience in developing, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models (LLMs) is an advantage but not a requirement.
6. Familiarity with LLM operation practices is an advantage but not a requirement.
7. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
8. Strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
