Sr. Project Engineer - BESS / Višji projektni inženir - BESS
Starejši projektni inženir – BESS bo odgovoren za električno načrtovanje in inženiring velikih projektov baterijskih sistemov za shranjevanje energije (BESS). Oseba na tem položaju bo imela ključno vlogo pri zagotavljanju, da projekti izpolnjujejo tehnične zahteve, so skladni s standardi in se izvajajo učinkovito.
Načrtuje in vodi električno zasnovo velikih sistemov za shranjevanje energije, pri čemer zagotavlja tehnično natančnost in skladnost s predpisi. Sodeluje z različnimi ekipami pri pripravi načrtov, tehničnih pregledih ter reševanju izzivov med gradnjo in zagonom. Deluje kot ključna tehnična povezava med naročniki, izvajalci in regulatorji.
Role Overview:
The Sr. Project Engineer - BESS will be responsible for the electrical design and engineering of large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring that projects meet technical requirements, comply with standards, and are delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and engineering of utility-scale BESS projects from concept to execution.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop detailed electrical system designs, including single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and communication networks.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and industry’s best practices.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide engineering solutions to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
- Work closely with procurement, installation, and commissioning teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly on-site.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts during the construction and commissioning phases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with BESS or renewable energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, grid connections, and power conversion technologies.
- Proficiency in design and simulation tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar software.
- Excellent communication, technical, and problem-solving skills.
