About the department:
Alvotech Upstream Biomanufacturing Operators work with living cells or the forms of biological materials. They grow cells in specialized environments and ensure that cells with transfected genes have the factors they need to grow and produce the desired proteins.

Opis delovnega mesta:
- Performing cGMP activities in Grade CNC, D and C areas,
- culture mammalian cells aseptically from cell revival stage in shake flask until end of production process in Single use bioreactors in accordance with the relevant protocols,
- prepare media and buffers to set specifications,
- serving as an expert on written procedures and cGMP documents,
- take ownership of deviations: lead and coordinate investigations as required, to help identify root cause and appropriate corrective actions,
- mentoring and coaching new team members,
- collaborating with other departments,
- continually identify process improvement to help create and maintain a lean, flexible and agile manufacturing facility.
- Shift working is required.
- Work at the company's location and relocation to Iceland (Reykjavik) for this purpose.
Pričakujemo:
- Fluency in English language, both spoken and written,
- a degree in science or other related discipline (chemical engineering, microbiology etc.),
- a minimum of 5 years experience in biopharmaceuticals or other similar field,
- demonstrated experience of working in a cGMP/GDP environment,
- strong demonstrated knowledge in upstream processing is essential. Requires understanding of scientific principles, operational aspects of production equipment and automation control,
- self-motivated, great communications and interpersonal skills,
- high level of adaptability/flexibility, working in a fast-paced environment,
- ability to positively influence, lead and show support to team members.
